Indenture, 1806 Dec. 20, between Oliver Phelps of Canandaigua, County of Ontario, State of New York, and Andrew Kingsbury as Treasurer of the State of Connecticut.

Article of indenture which documents Oliver Phelps' debt of $50,000 to the State of Connecticut, and schedules for repayment of the debt based on mortgages and bonds held by Phelps, from land which was sold in Ontario County, New York. Includes lists of the people who bought the land, descriptions of each section sold, and accountings of the mortgages and bonds used to finance each sale and the balance due on each account.
